 Characteristic of all operating mechanical equipment's, correct manufacturing and installation alignment tolerances are necessary to prolong operating life and prevent unnecessary breakdowns. Also, since many reducer manufacturers do not factory oil their reducers, it is imperative that oil levels be checked and maintained by site personnel. 

सभी ऑपरेटिंग मैकेनिकल उपकरणों की विशेषता, सही विनिर्माण और स्थापना संरेखण सहिष्णुता ऑपरेटिंग जीवन को लम्बा खींचने और अनावश्यक टूटने को रोकने के लिए आवश्यक हैं। इसके अलावा, चूंकि कई रेड्यूसर निर्माता अपने रेड्यूसर को तेल नहीं देते हैं, इसलिए यह आवश्यक है कि साइट कर्मियों द्वारा तेल के स्तर की जाँच की जाए और उसे बनाए रखा जाए।

Reducer/ motor base installation should be on a sufficiently rigid structure to minimize vibration and to maintain alignment between motor and the driven equipment within the recommended tolerances. Structural bases require a surface which, if not flat. It can be shimmed to proper position in the structure using 0.08 mm to 0.125 mm shim packs. 

Reducer / मोटर बेस इंस्टॉलेशन कंपन को कम करने और अनुशंसित सहनशीलता के भीतर मोटर और संचालित उपकरणों के बीच संरेखण बनाए रखने के लिए पर्याप्त रूप से कठोर संरचना पर होना चाहिए। संरचनात्मक आधारों के लिए एक सतह की आवश्यकता होती है, जो सपाट न हो। यह संरचना में उचित स्थान पर 0.08 मिमी से 0.125 मिमी तक शिम पैक का उपयोग करके चमकाया जा सकता है।

After the base plate is secured, flatness should be verified and shims added if necessary. If the output from the reducer is direct- coupled to the driven unit, the reducer shaft centerline should be held to a minus tolerance only, which would allow shimming by the erector if required. The same is true for the motor shaft in relation to the reducer input shaft.It is mandatory that alignment checks be made after the installation is complete, but before operation.

बेस प्लेट सुरक्षित होने के बाद, समतलता को सत्यापित किया जाना चाहिए और यदि आवश्यक हो तो शिम को जोड़ा जाना चाहिए। यदि रिड्यूसर से आउटपुट डायरेक्ट-युग्मित है, तो संचालित यूनिट के लिए, रिड्यूसर शाफ्ट सेंटरलाइन को केवल माइनस टॉलरेंस के लिए रखा जाना चाहिए, जो कि आवश्यकता होने पर इरेक्टर द्वारा चमकने की अनुमति देगा। Reducer इनपुट शाफ्ट के संबंध में मोटर शाफ्ट के लिए भी यही सच है। यह अनिवार्य है कि स्थापना पूर्ण होने के बाद संरेखण की जांच की जाए, लेकिन ऑपरेशन से पहले।
