A belt may be considered properly aligned if after eight hours of continuous operation under full design load, the belt edges remain within the width of the pulley face. Also, when extra wide face pulleys are used, a further criterion that the belt runs within the confines of the normal toughing, or return, idler should be followed.
 
एक बेल्ट को ठीक से संरेखित माना जा सकता है यदि पूर्ण डिजाइन लोड के तहत आठ घंटे के निरंतर संचालन के बाद, बेल्ट किनारों को चरखी चेहरे की चौड़ाई के भीतर रहती है। इसके अलावा, जब अतिरिक्त चौड़े चेहरे वाले फुफ्फुस का उपयोग किया जाता है, तो एक और कसौटी जो बेल्ट को सामान्य सख्त करने, या वापसी के दायरे में चलती है, उसके पीछे चलना चाहिए।


To obtain the above alignment under load it will be necessary to ensure that the load is cantered and that all belt scrapers, plows, and skirt seals exert uniform pressure on the belt. Minor adjustments can be made to these devices to improve tracking. 

लोड के तहत उपरोक्त संरेखण को प्राप्त करने के लिए यह सुनिश्चित करना आवश्यक होगा कि लोड कैन्ड हो और बेल्ट पर सभी बेल्ट स्क्रेपर्स, हल, और स्कर्ट सील एक समान दबाव डालें। ट्रैकिंग में सुधार के लिए इन उपकरणों के लिए मामूली समायोजन किया जा सकता है।

Carrying and return training idlers are considered in correcting belt alignment problems before rejecting the belting or splice.

By moving the station ahead or back a position is realized. This causes additional friction between idler and belt and creates a corrective force. Following is proposed.
