Ensure that conveyor structure
supporting idlers are aligned within ±3 mm to center line. Ensure that drive
bases, head and tail frames are leveled, squared and properly secured to
foundations or steelworks with proper shims/ grouting as required. Drive bases
are tied to head frames by connecting members to avoid vibration of
differential movement.

Ensure that there is enough
clearance between rotating components and guards. Check all wire ropes,
thimbles and wire ropes clamps and see them tightened as per requirement. Check
for the required number of clamps. Check all skirt boards are secured and
mounted properly on conveyors and enough clearance exists between belt and
skirt rubber. Check dust curtains and rubber and adjust the same if necessary.

Check all inspection doors,
clean-up doors, poke holes and see that they are closed properly. Check all wire rope sheaves and lubricate them properly.
