Handling, Storing, Belt alignment, Good loading conditions, Proper cleaning, care & maintenance procedures,

बेल्ट का जीवन विभिन्न कारकों पर निर्भर करता है जैसे:

हैंडलिंग, भंडारण, बेल्ट संरेखण, अच्छी लोडिंग की स्थिति, उचित सफाई, देखभाल और रखरखाव की प्रक्रिया,

 Handling हैंडलिंग

 Conveyor Belts are dispatched in wooden drums. All drums are marked with an arrow sign showing the direction in which they are to be rolled or hoisted. Belts should always be moved by lifting and transporting rather than rolling due to the danger to men and possibility of damage to the belt, and specially, if collapsing as a result of being rolled. Needless to emphasise, the belt edge should be protected carefully.

कन्वेयर बेल्ट लकड़ी के ड्रमों में भेजे जाते हैं। सभी ड्रमों को एक तीर के निशान के साथ चिह्नित किया जाता है, जिस दिशा में उन्हें लुढ़का या फहराया जाता है। बेल्ट को हमेशा पुरुषों के लिए खतरे के कारण उठाने और रोल करने के बजाय उठाने और परिवहन द्वारा ले जाया जाना चाहिए, और विशेष रूप से, अगर लुढ़का होने के परिणामस्वरूप ढहना। जोर देने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, बेल्ट के किनारे को सावधानीपूर्वक संरक्षित किया जाना चाहिए।

 Storing भंडारण

 Unless damaged in transit, belt should be kept in an upright position until it is being commissioned. The belts are to be stored in a cool, dry covered and well ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Other factors like exposure to sunlight, ozone in sea area, contact with all types of solvents and corrosive liquids should be avoided.

जब तक संक्रमण में क्षतिग्रस्त न हो, तब तक बेल्ट को एक ईमानदार स्थिति में रखा जाना चाहिए जब तक कि इसे चालू न किया जाए। बेल्ट को सीधे धूप से दूर एक शांत, सूखे कवर और अच्छी तरह हवादार जगह में संग्रहित किया जाना है। अन्य कारकों जैसे कि सूर्य के प्रकाश के संपर्क में, ओजोन समुद्र के क्षेत्र में, सभी प्रकार के सॉल्वैंट्स और संक्षारक तरल पदार्थों के संपर्क से बचा जाना चाहिए।

 If proper warehousing is not possible then belt should be covered with black polythene, suitably fastened against wind damage. In case of belts weighing excess of 1500 kgs and not installed within two/three months any beyond, it should be supported off the ground. Belt kept as spares should definitely be stored off the ground and rotated ¼ turn every six months. Whenever lengths are cut off from the belting roll, the end should be sealed with conveyor belting repair solution to prevent ingress of moisture into the carcass.

यदि उचित भण्डारण संभव नहीं है, तो बेल्ट को काले पॉलिथीन के साथ कवर किया जाना चाहिए, हवा की क्षति के खिलाफ उपयुक्त रूप से बन्धन। बेल्ट का वजन 1500 किलोग्राम से अधिक होने और किसी भी परे दो / तीन महीने के भीतर स्थापित नहीं किए जाने के मामले में, इसे जमीन से दूर होना चाहिए। पुर्जों के रूप में रखी बेल्ट को निश्चित रूप से जमीन से दूर रखा जाना चाहिए और हर छह महीने में घुमाया जाना चाहिए। जब भी लंबाई को बेलटिंग रोल से काट दिया जाता है, तो शव में नमी की नमी को रोकने के लिए कन्वेयर बेल्ट की मरम्मत के समाधान के साथ अंत को सील किया जाना चाहिए।

 The drums in storage should be examined once in two/three months to ensure that packing is not failing due to white ants and similar insects. Spraying of DDT over packing will prevent this type of damage.

भंडारण में ड्रमों को दो / तीन महीने में एक बार जांचना चाहिए ताकि यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि सफेद चींटियों और इसी तरह के कीड़ों के कारण पैकिंग विफल नहीं हो रही है। पैकिंग पर डीडीटी के छिड़काव से इस प्रकार की क्षति को रोका जा सकेगा।
