Pull Cord Switch is an emergency switch to stop the belt conveyor instantly when an accident happens. Since the Pull Cord Switch is so designed that it should be installed at the side of belt conveyor and the pull cord should be mounted along conveyor, the switch can be actuated at any position.

पुल कॉर्ड स्विच एक दुर्घटना होने पर तुरंत बेल्ट कन्वेयर को रोकने के लिए एक आपातकालीन स्विच है। चूंकि पुल कॉर्ड स्विच इतना डिज़ाइन किया गया है कि इसे बेल्ट कन्वेयर के किनारे स्थापित किया जाना चाहिए और पुल कॉर्ड को कन्वेयर के साथ लगाया जाना चाहिए, स्विच को किसी भी स्थिति में सक्रिय किया जा सकता है।

Pull cord switch also known as Rope Operated Emergency switch is used as a safety switch to stop the conveyor belt in case of an emergency. It is also known as pull switch cord.

रस्सी कॉर्ड स्विच को रोप ऑपरेटेड इमरजेंसी स्विच के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, आपातकालीन स्थिति में कन्वेयर बेल्ट को रोकने के लिए एक सुरक्षा स्विच के रूप में उपयोग किया जाता है। इसे पुल स्विच कॉर्ड के रूप में भी जाना जाता है।

पुल कॉर्ड स्विच एक दुर्घटना होने पर तुरंत बेल्ट कन्वेयर को रोकने के लिए एक आपातकालीन स्विच है। चूंकि पुल कॉर्ड स्विच इतना डिज़ाइन किया गया है कि इसे बेल्ट कन्वेयर के किनारे स्थापित किया जाना चाहिए और पुल कॉर्ड को कन्वेयर के साथ लगाया जाना चाहिए, स्विच को किसी भी स्थिति में सक्रिय किया जा सकता है।

 Pull Cord Switch is a switch that is mounted along a conveyor stringer and is manually actuated by a cord that runs the full length of the conveyor. The cord can then be pulled at any point on the conveyor as an emergency stop.

पुल कॉर्ड स्विच एक स्विच है जो एक कन्वेयर स्ट्रिंगर के साथ लगाया जाता है और मैन्युअल रूप से एक कॉर्ड द्वारा कार्य किया जाता है जो कन्वेयर की पूरी लंबाई को चलाता है। तब कॉर्ड को किसी भी बिंदु पर आपातकालीन स्टॉप के रूप में कॉर्ड खींचा जा सकता है।

The Pull Cord Switch is installed at the side of belt conveyor and the pull cord is mounted along the conveyor. When an accident occurs in the belt conveyor, the worker can stop the belt conveyor at any position with pulling the cord in order to drive the actuating arm rotating.

पुल कॉर्ड स्विच बेल्ट कन्वेयर के किनारे पर स्थापित किया गया है और पुल कॉर्ड कन्वेयर के साथ मुहिम की जाती है। जब बेल्ट कन्वेक्टर में कोई दुर्घटना होती है, तो कर्मी किसी भी स्थिति में बेल्ट कन्वेक्टर को कॉर्ड को खींचने के लिए रोक सकता है ताकि एक्ट्यूएटिंग आर्म को घुमाया जा सके।

The rotation may put the torsion spring in motion through the transmission shaft to drive the cam into the displacement. Then it may drive microswitches to cut down the control wiring. Thus the belt conveyor can stop operation.

विस्थापन में कैम को चलाने के लिए ट्रांसमिशन शाफ्ट के माध्यम से रोटेशन ने मरोड़ वसंत को गति में रखा जा सकता है। फिर यह नियंत्रण तारों को काटने के लिए माइक्रोस्विच को चला सकता है। इस प्रकार बेल्ट कन्वेयर ऑपरेशन को रोक सकता है।

Operation ऑपरेशन

Pull cord switch is mounted on the walkway side of the conveyor belt, preferably at about every 20-25 meters. When the rope is pulled from any side. The switch get operated . Unless and until the handle is reset to normal position manually, the switch remains in operated condition.

पुल कॉर्ड स्विच को कन्वेयर बेल्ट के वॉकवे किनारे पर रखा गया है, अधिमानतः हर 20-25 मीटर पर। जब रस्सी किसी ओर से खींची जाती है। स्विच संचालित हो। जब तक और हैंडल को सामान्य स्थिति में मैन्युअल रूप से रीसेट नहीं किया जाता है, तब तक स्विच संचालित स्थिति में रहता है।

 All the pull cord switches installed along an individual belt are electrically wired in series and connected to the control station by a two core cable. Therefore actuation of any one of these pull cord switches will stop the concerned conveyor until the particular switch is manually reset.

एक व्यक्तिगत बेल्ट के साथ स्थापित सभी पुल कॉर्ड स्विच को विद्युत रूप से श्रृंखला में तार दिया जाता है और एक दो कोर केबल द्वारा नियंत्रण स्टेशन से जुड़ा होता है। इसलिए इनमें से किसी एक पुल कॉर्ड स्विच की सक्रियता संबंधित कन्वेयर को रोक देगी जब तक कि विशेष स्विच मैन्युअल रूप से रीसेट न हो।

 1] How far apart are emergency stop button on a conveyor?

 ANS: Pull cord switch should be placed at every 25 Mtr on both side of conveyor, with necessary supports to rope. These supports are either of I bolt or Cable carrier at turning or change in level of the conveyor.

 2] How does an emergency Pull cord switch work?

 ANS: Pull cord switch is mounted on the walkway side of the conveyor, Pull cord rope is attached to operating lever in such a way that it can be operated from both side. Typical Arrangement is shown in the below diagram. Various accessories are required for its proper function depending on-site condition.

 3] How are Pull cord switch Wired?

 ANS: Safe way of wire Pull cord switch is through NC contact. All Pull cord `s NC contact is connected in a series further interlock to turn OFF the Conveyor ( Motor).
